Home, Farm and Garden. My Neighbor's Farm Management. My neighbor is curiosity in his way. He is not an ignorant man, -generally speaking. He has read much and lemembers what he has read. Pontics ana mechanics are his particular forte. Then, again, he has a very good stock of general information, lalk with him, on any subject, and he will entertain you. Farming comes within his province, and he discourses well thereon. Now let us look at his practices. His garden, his corn and potatoes are neglected uatil the weeds choke the growth of the plants.' We have often seen him hoeing, for the first time, with weeds from si to twenty inches high. Then, if ho could get time and help, he would give them a good dressing out. He believes in "doing a good job,'' so when he once got at it, he would do well what he did do. After this attention, the plants would be suffered to grow in neglect, uatil harvest, when the weeds would often outtop the crop. The crop, sometimes, gets partially harvested i...

Home, Farm and Garden. Cultivation of the Peach. N. P. lledees. Of trie county, writes to the Bortieulturtst to state that himself and his neighborint- have succeeded in raising good crops of peaches about every other jer, and that too in pwces wuere kuere are no large bodies of water and not much forest protection.
