THE Zeehan & Dundas Herald. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17, 1891. THE LAWS DELAY. [Newspaper Article] — Zeehan and Dundas Herald — 17 June 1891

* For the cno«c tint luefcc nwlsvince For t!w ftT-iiir that ntdi mutitiiM jVqJ tbe pood Uikt ve can to.' WEDNESDAY. JUXE 17, ism. THE LAWS DELAY. Ook readers may probably remember that on the 3 7th of April, a wood cutter, named Green, was defendant in an action for trespass, tried before Mr. Commissioner Fowell, at Zeehan; also that judgment was reserved, and that altbonsh Mr. Conmiissior-.er Vtnvcll lias lield two sittings of the court since, at Zeohan, theresiiltof the judgment lias not yet been delivered, thus necessitating a further delay of a mouth, before the suitors and the public are placed in possession of the legality or illegality of the trespass with which Green has been charged. If this particular case was aa ordinary one, sucb unconscionable delay would be vexatious enough, but there is banging upon it, a question of great import to the residents of Zeehan, that should have been an in centive to tbe law department of Tasmania to exhibit, at least, expe dition of an or...
