MELBOURNE MARKETS. Wednesday, September '8, 1875. . Fat Cattle.— This market was supplied with 1180 . head, the bulk of which wore of second quality with a small vroportion of prime and good. There was a large attendance of buyers, but sales :opened at a reduction from last week's rates of from 10s to 15s per head. How ever, as' jalos progressed, biddings became brisker, and slightly higher prices ruled than at the commencement of the day. Prime pens of bullocks sold at from £14 to £15, some odd beasts of extra quality from £16 to as high as £27 ; good do. from £12 to £13 ; second do, ' from £10 to £11 ; Inferior from £8.
