CAPTURE             OF THE KELLY OUTLAWS. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH..] [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Another Outrage by the Kelly Gang. SYDNEY, June 27. THE following telegram has been received by the Inspector-General of Police from Superintendent Singleton, of Albury :–   "Detectivc Ward, of the Beechworth police,     telegraphs that the watch party have been     stuck up by the Kelly gang at 6 o'clock on   Saturday night, and that constable Aaron had   been shot dead by Joe Byrne, who fired seven   shots into the hut. The bullets passed close to the heads of the constables in the hut, but owing to the position taken up by the outlaws the police could not return a single shot. The gang handcuffed a German and took him to the door of the hut, and compelled him to call out for Aaron, when Joe Byrne shot him...

Capture of the Gang by the Victorian Police.       [FROM A CORRESPONDENT.] BRISBANE, June 28, 4.30 p.m.       The whole of the Kelly gang of outlaws   have been captured at Glen Rowan (185 miles NE of Melbourne), near Beechworth. Ned Kelly was wounded, and was the first taken. Hart, Byrne, and DanKelly were taken in a public-house which the gang had stuck-up.

Full Particulars.     [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.] [FROM OUR OWN. CORRESPONDENT.]   SYDNEY, June 28th, 8.37 p.m. The police on Sunday night surrounded the   Kelly gang at Jones' Hotel, Glen Rowan town (136 miles from Melbourne.) Superin- tendent Hare was shot through the arm, and the gang tore up the railway near Glen   Rowan, ahead of the special train. The pilot engine, however, prevented any mishap. The police arrived at the township at   quarter past three in the morning.and the fight commenced immediately. Ned Kelly took to the bush and remained in the vicinit[y] of the township throughout the night. Early in the morning he appeared upon the scene and entered into the fray. He was attacked by Sergeant Steele, Senior Con- stables Kelly and Dowsett, and the railway guard, with whom he fought for more than half an hour before he was shot down. He wore an armour on which the shots from the police carbines too...
