Some have consientiously and faithfully served their county - some arc, for thc first time, seek ing thc suppport of their friends. So far as wc know, thc campaign has been entirely free from per sonalities-the, "mud slinging" which occasionally disgraces a po litical contest in this land of libori ty. Quite a large crowd greeted thc aspirants on last Friday; a good humored, friendly, crowd, giving earnest attention to each candidate as he set forth bis views about himself and things in gener al-mostly tho first.
