The Hemphill County News VOLUME Vltt iPlane Crash Near Glazier Kills Two L E Conrad and his daughter inlaw Mrs Doris Conrad of San Francisco Calif were killed about 445 Wednesday afternoon when their plane crashed on the IV ranch near the windmill lo- cated about a half mile south of the railroad track three miles west of Coburn The plane was seen falling in- flames by the crew of a freight which dropped a note off at Hlg glns telling about the accident The message was received by the Santa Fe here about 5 oclock and Tom Carver phoned Sheriff Cloyd The crash was also reported by two men In a plane who saw it burning on the ground They landed at the airport here and save the position of the plane However the message from the train crew and the story told by the planes occupants gave the location of the scene of the tragedy at different spots Sheriff E R Cloyd Deputy Clint Word Ed Little Allan Thomp- son Fred Frass and two of his employees who made up the searching party were delayed ...
