A movement is now on foot looking to the organization of a professional base ballolub for the South- ern league next season. Some of the mem- bers of the association are anxious that Fort Worth and Dallas own a team jointly and thus seoure a star aggregation. Others think that Dallas and Fort Worth won't be able to agree as to the games. A meeting will be held quite soon and a committee will likely be appointed to confer with the ball men of Fort Worth with a view to forming a joint team.
