North Arm. MUSKETRY COURSE. Upwards of 30 members of both grades of the local rifle club completed their musketry course over the 300, 500 and COO yards stages at Ihe local range oc Saturday. Of the three tro phies offered by the club for the best three scores. Mr. R. B. Miller with 94 secured the flrst one, Mr. W. War drop with 93 second, while Mr. E. Hay tcr with 93 secured the third. Many expressions of sympathy were express ed by riflemen on Siturday at the tra gic death of Mr. R. J. Ubank at Monk land on Friday. The deceased was a member oi the Gymple rifle team which defeated North Arm for the A grade championship of the Lilley District last Easter. FOOTBALI+ REPRESENTATIONS. Mr. H. There was a good attendance of candidates who all gained very satisfac tory passes. A feature of the examina tion was the performance of A. Murrell. who, although only a member of the classes for twelve months was awarded me railway ana m. .ionn s cerxiucaies.
