* * W On Wednesday an all night dance ?was held in tlie School of Arts, in aid of the local Football Club. During the past season the Club had incurred considerable expense in touring the district in search of Cups, and in de tending their own trophies, and it is pleasing to note that the ball referred to was thoroughly successful, the Hall being filled with the well wishers of the Club. During the last few days the Misses M. Ingram and I. Hart made, an 'active canvass of the town for donations towards the expense of ~ the ball, and their efforts were well rewarded. The supper was laid in the new supper room, which Was found to be very convenient, and the tables were presided over by the lady friends of the footballers. The hall was at tractively decorated by the footballers themselves. Good music was provided by Mr. H. Beileiter and members of i his family, while the duties of M.C. I fell to the lot of Mr. W.
