"IMITATION is the SINCEREST FLATTERY." The articles most imitated are CLEMENTS TONIC and FLETCHER'S PILLS. WHY? [Newspaper Article] — Healesville Guardian — 4 January 1895

"IMITATION is the SINCEREST FLATTERY." The articles most imitated are CLEhMENTS TONIC and FLETCOER'S PILLS. WVHYI BECAUSE they have the best repu tationand are most in demand by the public, consequently, every dishonest trader tries to trade on their fame and renown. It is really wonderful that the Aus tralian people are so slow to see the truth as regards the unscrupulous quacks and charlatans who prey on the credulity of the Australian public. Clements Tonic and Fletcher's Pills have never yet stooped to deception and misrepre sentation. They are scientific thera peutical agents, and evidence as to their value can be found in every district, and such being the case it is unneces sary to further ...
