WARBURTON, FRAHKI, L?D. One of the first di-fplays to call for attention and interest of the visitor to the Show, was that of M-8ssra. War barton, Franki, Ltd. In a well-placed pavilion, near the main entrance gatea, one read the word 'Delco.' It stands for. light. There the visitor was let into ''the secret of house lighting ' plants for supplying electric light in country homes. But what seemed more interesting to one housewife and her good man at the time oar representative looked in, was the Delco-Light Washing Machine, do scribed as the moat remarkable washing machine ever built. In it you have the washer and wringer combined. The Delco-Light pressure water nys tem was also to be seen. It provides water, under pressure, without the use of an overhead tank. This plant, we were told, has been before the public of this State for the past seven years. OVERLAND, SYDNEY, LTD. Showed the Overland and Willys Knight cars. On the stand they had the Standard Grey Model, and two spe cial Overland five-passenger, nickel finish, and an Overland single-seater special blue, fitted with Fisk oorda straight sides. There were two Willys-Knight Stand ard Model, five-passenger cars, in bine, with wire wheels; also a highly -finished WUlys-Knight Sedan. These cars wore all fitted with tho Knight sleeve valve encineo. The exhibit was nicely arranged and attracted ma oh attention.

Jersey Breeders. ANNUAL MEETINC. WORK OF TESTING. The annual meeting of the Jersey Herd Society was held at the R.A.S. rooms at the Show Ground. Mr. G. A. Denning presided over a very large meeting of members. Hie annual report, which was adop ted, stated that the year had been a trying one for dairymen, but Jersey herds came through remnrkably well. The death of Mr. David nyam was a serious loss to the society. On repre sentation to the R.A.S. by the com mittee, sleeping accommodation has been provided for cattle attendants in the cattle pavilion. Official herd-testing has been well supported by Jersey breeders. At the commencement of the new testing year (July 1, 1023), 87 Jerseys were under test, a larger number than that of any other breed. The committee recorded with satisfaction the inauguration of the all-Australian herd-testing scheme.
