UNHEALTHY BEEF. I yo THE ED1T0B. I , SIB,-On atteadip# a sale of so-called fat cattle, held »t the Wallaroo yards, Ijast Friday, I wad surprised to see an undoubtedly diseased bullock purchased by one of the local butchers at Wallaroo, and I am informed from a reliable source that this beast has beep killed and vended to the guiless beefeaters of W"a,IIaroo as prime rbeef, v Kow. I think, Sir. in jostice to'those butchers who refused to buy this bullock at the low rate of about 5s per hundred, preferring to pay instead gt the ^reasonable market price of 20s to 25s for good wholesome beef, that it is the duty of ibose who relish a good slice of healthy prime beef to be : careful Jto avoid this.
