Railway Commissioners announce that from Monday last, the 17th inst., Lho winter time-table came into operation, and the follow ing alterations, among others, are notilied : - On tlu; western lino the following trains are discontinued, viz,: - .l.f>0 p.m. Friday express, Sydney to lUthurst ; 2,25 p.m. Saturday express, to Mt. Victoria ; 1.48 p.m. Saturday train, Katoomba to Sydney ; and the 7.1/5 a.m. Monday express, Mt. Victoria to Sydney. The 10.2/> a.m. train from Penrith to I'arraiiiatta is altered, leaving stations Werrington to West luoad inclusive one to live minutes earlier.
