Sanders Gross When Mr. Sanders spoke in Winmelsd in July, be said, in the course of his speech, that he had asisted is the passage of House Bill No. 42, by Mr. Pearce, at the regular seecession of 1906, a Sill which prohibited the soliciting, by agents or drummers, of liquor busineus in prohibition parishes. The Conlict, edited by Dr. S. A. Smith, President of the Anti Saloon League of the State, in its September issue, had an editorial in which it severely criticized Mr. Sanders for this statement and stated that this statement of Mr. Sanders was a stupendous. colossal and monumental lie.
