We are glad to learn that the prospect of the institu tion were never brighter than at the present time. Its history has been an unbroken chronicle of success from the Tery start. Established through the earnest labors of zealous, indefatigable men, from a small beginning it has grown Into proportions which challenge the respect and confidence of all who hare at heart the progress and per fection of our educational appliances. Sneered at by some as an enterprise unworthy of the fostering care of the State, and characterized as a mere local school by men whose vision is limited by the boundaries of their own little neighborhoods, the institution has, nev ertheless, continued to expand its pro ' portions and to enlarge the area of its usefulness.
