ATLANTIC ITEMS. ....The "Stone Fleet," as it is termed, which consists of old vessels laden with stone, will be used to block up, first, the harbor of Savannah, then probably that of Mobile. There are worn out ves. sels enough North, which can be purchased at a low price, to stop up half the harbors of the Southern Coast. ....Mrs. President Lincoln is going to have a baby, according to statements of those who have the best opportunities of judging. "Such coming events cast their shadows before," particularly if it is a sun-shining day. EASTERN INTELLIGENCE! Quincyr, Decembtr 24th.—The New York Tribune's special despatch from Washington savs Lord Lyons had an interview with Secretary Seward yesterday. It was fritndly and satisfactory in its results. Lord Lyons is to have a Christmas party, and has issued invitations. Gen. Kelly is driving the rebels before him, near Winchester. William Pickering of Illinois has been confirmed Governor of Washington Territory, and Robert Haley of California Consul to Manzanillo. Skirmishes occur almost daily on the Potomac.— One occurred near Newmarket bridge on Saturday. 20 rebels were killed. The N. Y. Times publishes a statement of Lieut. Hurd, of the 2d Maine Regiment, a prisoner who escaped from Charleston jail during the great fire — Col. Corcoran also escaped, but has not been heard from since.
