Cranfill better known to Simmons students as "Fnts" hns signed a year and a half as head coach of Simmons University athletics suc- ceeding Frank Bridges the athletic committee announced last Saturday morning. Bridges' contract expired December 1 but he stayed through the Howard Payne game of December C. He has been coach here since December 1 1027.
