WRECK OF THE « ROYAL CHARTER' FCHTHER DISTRESSING PARTICULARS. The Fad details of the awful cJamity, collected at the scene, fully realised the most gloomy an ticipations. Of 403 passengers and crew on board, 39 only escaped, and tlio disaster from first to last occurred in about six hours. The coast itself is of a peculiar character, and one which, of all otiiers, was most antagonistic to an iron vessel. It had the appearance of an immense etonc quarry, and the limestone rocks were sharp, irregular, and as rough as afile, were nst covered over with seaweed.
