icaleswille. A pretty municipal township, with post and telegraph and money-order office, and savings bank, situated at the junction of the. Graceburn and Maroondah rivers, 39 miles east of Melbourne. Rail direct with ,Melbourne, Llealesville being the terminus. It has three large first-class hotels and a large temperance hotel: Gracedale House, a handsome summer resort, is situated near the foot of Mount Juliet, about three miles from the railway station. There are a fine state school, four churches, branch of the Colonial Bank, court house, police station, nechanics' institute and free library, a newspaper (THE HIEALESVILLE GUARDIAN), a number of stores and other places of business."
