It was found that he ha:I bequeathed the sum of £4000 for the benefit of widows and children of soldiers who served in the Great War, and who either lost their Uvea thereat or died prior to the death of the testator. The late Mr. Forsyth died on should ba carefully noted, because widows and children cf soldiers who died subsequent to the death of the testator are not eligible. Mistaken Identity AMUSING AND MYSTERIOUS CONTRETEMPS. Mistaken identity has often amus ing or embarrassing consequences. The 'Spectator' recently invited its readers to write examples of such contretemps as has led to interesting denouements. The following example was chosen as the moat diverting: — A country woman who came into Truro one market day stopped in the middle of the street to greet an old friend. 'Why, I haven't seen you for a long time, my dear,' she said. 'No, and I haven't seen you. my dear,' said the other, 'how are 'ee keeping?' There was a pause. Then the first said, 'I don't believe 'tis you after all,' and the other answered. 'No, and I don't believe 'tis you neither.'
