Railway Age: -A law has just been en acted in Kansas of great importance to railway companies existing in that state which desire to extend their systems into other states, and also to companies -which wish to extend their lines into Kansas. It allows companies domiciled in the state to lease and control lines in other states and to extend their own lines to connect with them, thus meeting the case of the Atchi n, Topeka & Santa Fe company, whose right, under its charter, to make, several extensions has been questioned, although thus'far-sustained by the federal courts.
