Pedestrians often cause of highway accidents ■* “Driven often get the blame when a pedestrian is struck by a car but frequently it is a violation by the person walking which causes the accident,” Bradford M. Genesis basis for Sunday lesson sermon [Newspaper Article] — El Sereno Star — 18 June 1964
Genesis basis for Sunday lesson sermon The first chapter of Genesis coupled with explanatory passages from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy—will form the nucleus of the Christian Science Bible lesson this Sunday entitled “Is the Universe, Including Man, Evolved by Atomic Force?” The golden text is from Psalms (33:6): “By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.” And from Science and Health: "All that is made is the work of God and all is good” (p. 521). TIP TO MOTORISTS Hitch-hikers who stick up a thumb for a ride often stick up the motorists who oblige. HAS WINGS It would be easy to convince anyone that today’s folding money is printed on flypaper.

ANN LANDERS Answers Your ProfaUms Hire your repair work donebills may be a jolt to hubby Dear Ann Lenders: It’s been two years since my husband started to paint our four rooms. The living room Is a disgrace. The old paint Is peeling off and he has one wall partially scraped, but he still hasn’t put a brush to it. After hours of nagging (which didn't help) I said, "Rich, it’s plain to see you don't care much about painting so why don’t you repair the broken window on the back porch?” He replied, “You are nothing but a nag. I'll do it when I'm in the mood. Leave me alone.” Tell me, Ann Landers, how can I get my husband to accept his responsibilities in the house? We haven’t entertained for two years because I’m ashamed of the way our place looks. Help, please.—D. FEATID. ANN’S REPLY: Dear D.: In the same way that some children become “mother-deaf” some husbands become "wife-deaf." 8# get smart and save year pipes. Lady. Quit nagging and hire the work done. Some husbanda decide, after ...
