(Doc) Stewart former Texas University football coach) who was aseidentally killed while hunting Mar Kerrville Moaday afternoon was buried at Cleveland Ohio where he was reared and educated. Stewart was hunting with J. W O'Dyrno of Saa Antonio and had gone out to run a deer when O'lyrne heard hjm com lag through the brush' and thinking it was a deer shot him. As football and basketball coach at the University of Texas from 1923 to 1926 Doc Stewart was a familiar figure to many of the older S. M. U. students. Stewart about 48 was a football eoach for a quarter of a century ranking with such old-timers as John W. Helsman.
