COMMERCIAL. A considerable amount of business is being done in Queensland securities. Viclorian debentures are quoted at 111 to 116: New South Wales, 91 to 102 Queensland, 1 OK to 1)0; Neiv Zea land, 98 to 100. Six per cents, 110 to 102. In the wool market thpre has lieen a decline, and prices are now equal to to those of March, last year. The exports of the month show a fr(moral increase lo Queensland of £20,000. Hides are active at 5d to SJ-d. Lea ther lower. The tallow market is active, but at a reduction ol Cd.on previous rates. There is an advance on wheat. ARRIVED.-The Westbury arrived from Brisbane. There was a severe gale at Madras. The mail steamer Benares was lost in the China Seas, but the passengers and mails were saved.
