. What is Liquid Air ? Cablegrams report that in Austria some important ex periments have been made respecting the value of this as an explosive. It is stated that an explosive substance has j ?been produced, of which liquid air is the chief ingredient, that is ten times more powerful than j dynamite; anuitis believed teat this explosive can be used for firearms. ?-, As to what Liquid Air is, the Argus ' writes that if the, temperature of a quantity of air is reduced to about 345 degrees below zero on the or dinary Fahrenheit thermom eter, it changes into a liquid very like water in appearance.
