Wool is being cairied by team to the Deniliauia and i Molina Railway, for transmission to the Mel bourne market, the river having fallen to within a few feet of summer level, and it is only on a fresh that steamera can get away from this port. The Golconda is loading, and will, in all proba bility, get away with a full load. The river has fallen during the past few days, and now regis ters 4 feet 6 inches. Die following are .the crossing January 12th, 7000 store sheep from the Murray run, the proper ty of Mr Hatton, for Yanda station (Noah Holland in charge).

MELBOURNE WOOL & STOCK MARKET. R. Goldseoeough and Co. report, under date January, 7th. — WooL— We catalogued 4384 bales for our sale to-day, and sold 3236 bales. The bidding opened with spirit, and competition ?was spirited throughout, late rates being firmly maintained. A large proportion of the lots were from the northern portions of New South Wales, and generally in heavy condition. Some Tasmanian clips sold well, Dowling's half-bred greasy Leicester, 48 bales, realising 12 jd ; Jarrett'd greasy cross-bred, ll^d ; Four-mile creek, llfd ; Piney Bange, lUd ; Yalgogrin, lid ; Colane, lOd. , &c. In washed wools, R. Band's sold at 19d ; Egan Creek, 19M ; M'Brydt's, 18£d ; Yanda, J.Gd ; Bourke, 20|d : Ensay, 18 jd ; Jandra, - 18Jd ; and others in proportion.
