Local Business Men : -* OF POSH. BffeSBrs- Johnstone and Grates /TA1L0BS AND MERCERS.) It is not a. far ory from drapery to mercery. And we have been referring of late : to drapers' pretty windows. Tbe point where the taste of man ap proaches the equator on the other side of which surges the great restless tide of that genius of woman-kind, Fashion, seems to be Mercery. Messrs. John stone and Gates have for many years been recognised as holding an almost unique position in respect of the mer cery requirements of the men of Parra matta district, and the goods they have been able to place before their patrons have been at all times tasty and good. Messrs. Johnstone and Gates are now shewing splendid lines of summer goods and sporting requisites ; and a call at their place of business is hardly likely to prove a mistake.
