Evatt (wife of the State Minister for Housing-) last Thursday afternoon. The Mayor 'Aid. B. Fitzpatrick) was in the chair, and welcomed the distin- guished visitors, who included Mr. Charles Lloyd-Jones, Sir Samuel Cohen, Hon. C. Evatt and Mi-. E. R. C. Gallop, Chairman of the Housing Commission. Mr. Gallop officially handed over the building to Mr. Lloyd-Jones as President of the Kindergarten Union of N.S.W. Lu his speech. Mr. Gallop said the Hous- ing Commission had in N.S.W. 4000 Í flats such as provided in Hargreave Park. MOTOR CYCLE CLUB A roost enjoyable day was bad by members last Sunday at vbe social a".d sports day held at Lansdowne. Phillips (BSA) proved th; eventual winner with J. Helliwell (AJ-Ti and R. Wheeler (Triumph) runners-up. George and Leon provided the excite- ment with a little hill climbing.
