The Rockhampton bulletin AND CENTRAL QUEENSLAND ADVERTISER. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27. 1862. [Newspaper Article] — Rockhampton Bulletin and Central Queensland Advertiser — 27 September 1862

The Rockhampton Bulletin AND CENTRAL QUEENSLAND ADVERTISER. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1862. lt will be in the recollection of our readers that, a short time ago, we ex- tracted into our columns a paragraph     from the Home News, stating that the Emigration Commissioners in England had chartered the " Utopia," to convey emigrants from Plymouth to Keppel Bay. The same journal of the 26th July, re- cords the departure of the above-men- tioned vessel, from Plymouth for "Queens- land." on the 23rd July. The particu- lar port of Queensland for which she is bound, is not mentioned in connection with her departure, the Executive of       this colony, however, must, ere this, have   been officially advised as to the destina- tion of the " Utopia ;" and, if it be true that she is now on her way to Keppel Bay, why should the information be with- held from the inhabitants of this dis- trict? From the silense of the Gov...
