Ealeg of Penshurst, was united in the bonds of xaattimoMy with Mr Charles Dean, whose home was in Port Fairy. The Church had been prettily decorated by the girl friends of the bride with greenery and white flowers, the effect being generally admired. The bride who was given away by her father, looked charming in cream silk crepe; with lace and pearl trimmings, and * crepe de chene hat to match. The bridal bouquet, earned by the bi'ide was very prettily arranged, and was shaded with white and pink flowers. Miss Ella Eales, sister of the bride, who acted as bridesmaid, was prettily ' gowned in cream voile, with a black hat,' and .^carried a-pretty pink bo - ! quet. PkNSHURST STOCK REPORT s Fowling, DaUon and Co. report holding a very successful sale on Mon day 17th January (in conjunction with Archibald, Macfarlang and Go), wiitn 3400 sheep and 130 head of cattle were yarded. The class of stock waB the b^t that has been yarded in the dis trict for some time. Competition for cattle was exceptionally keen and very high prices were realised, the whole yarding being cleared1 at satisfactory prices. Prices for sheep were the highest realised here this season. Buyers were present from Willaura, Warrnambool, Terang, - Mortlake, Ellerslie and Macarthurr and sur rounding district.
