The Austrian losses are set down at one million and a half. The total number of German and Austrian fprisoners in Russia on De ceniber 23 was-German, 1,140 officers and 131,737 men; Austrian, 3,186 officers and 221,447 men. Pitts), and they are also very grateful to the public generally ftr their liberal patronage. THE WAR. [Reuter's Cablegramc.j LATEST NEWS. London, Tuesday. The Russians at Scrykarnish cap tured the whole of the ninth Turkish army-corps. The defeat is complete. Commander Iskhan Pashia Pasha, over 100 officcrs, a large number of men, guns, machine guns, ammunition, and supply column were captured. The rest of the corps was annihilated. The Russians are now pursuing the rem nants of the 10th Turkish annrmy corps. When captuiring Ardazan from the Turks, the Russians bayoneted two Turktsh companies, the Turks falhing back in all directions. At Strassburg, in Germany, 62 hos pitals are full of wounded. The Germans shot 30 members of the Landsturm in the public square at Steinbach, which was captured by hie Frerichl, because of their irresolute conduct.
