SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, 1907 IMPERIAL, FEDERATION. The Hon. Donald Mackinnon, M.L.Â., on Friday afternoon week read a paper at the Imperial Federa tion League on the above s abject. It contained much food for serions thought, and it was satisfactory to find such an intelligent interest mani fested. Windtor Magazine. [Newspaper Article] — Malvern Standard — 7 December 1907

Windtor Magazine, The "Windsor Magazine" for November is s remarkably varied number, containing new features of < importance surprising ia the last number of the year's programme, and giving no sign of editorial economy in the interests of the coming new volume, of whieh the - main features are announced. Here, for instance, within the covers of this one ordinary issue are complete stories by Eden Phillpotts, Robert Barr, Baroness von, Hutten Barry Pain, Mary E. Mann and other favourite novelists. Armadale Baptist Literary Society. [Newspaper Article] — Malvern Standard — 7 December 1907

Armadale Baptist Literary Society. I In our report of the Armadale Baptist Literary Society's banquet last issue, we omitted to mention the three very excellent recitals from Charles Dickens which were given by Mr J. H. Crowther, the late secretary of the Dickens Fellowship, and a very prominent member of that body. The Armidale Society are very much indebted to Mr Crowther for the splendid services he has often rendered them, and the items which he contributed were specially appreciated by the large audience present. Mr Crowther is a thorough student of Charles Dickens, and any items which he gives from the works of that popular author are always most enjoyable.
