Mil. KELLY AT EUROPA GOLLY. Thkiu: was a very full attendance of intelligent miners waiting at l'ritchard's hotel, tor the arrival of Mr Kelly. Mr Walter Thompson was voted into the Chair. Mr Kelly addressed the meeting in a humorous, yet lucid style, which seemed to meet with the Approbation :>r the doctors present, for Mr Lam I bert's amendment to the effect that Mr | Kelly was not n fit and proper person | was for a- long time without even n seconder, while the original motion adopting Mr Kelly and his views was carried almost unanimously. The motion that Mr Kelly was a fit and proper person to represent the dis trict of the- Ovens was moved by Mr Willouk and seconded by Mr G. W. Kennedy, who made a very effective speech on the occasion.
