ARIZONA JODKNAL-agNiR j. C .MAKTIN. Editor and Trop'r. JOKING WITH DEATH. The ofBoial sleuths who ornament the room on the western side of the big briok, commonly known as the sheriff's offico, havo triumphed again. In thoir triumph, although it bo only on the question of secrecy in criminal affairs, they were, apparent ly, assisted by the Journal-Mixer, an organ of opposite political faith, although the service was unwillingly performed. It was on the question of the murder of McNary, which ocourred in Copper Basin Thursday. Realizing the importance of such news, as it was being handled by one tongue and another yesterday, a representative of the paper called at the office of the sheriff late in the afternoon to have the street rumors verified or contradicted, officially, deeming the mission as one more of interest and benefit to the public than the satisfaction of mere individual curiosity. To our question, the amateur handlor of criminal reins there, informed us, in his usual suav...

AfUZUiNA JO PENAL-MINER J. C. MAKTIN. Hilitor and rrop'r. MARTIN'S MKASURE. There is no law which carries with it a more disastrous moaning to the geuaral prosperity of a sec tion than that which comes within the meaning of a combine or a trust.
