Collision occurcd in the English Channel between the steamers St. Germain and Woodburn. Only eleven persons on board the Wood burn were saved. A biography of John Brown will be written at the request of Queen Victoria. Mr. Terry has succeeded in cross ing the English Channel, from Dover to Calais, in a floatihg tricycle.
