Leaving a notice," they proceeded to the end of the etraits, where thoy were stopped by the ice, and were compelled to return by the same course. En deavoring to got north, they were again hemmed in by the ice. Thev returned again ar.d wintered in Prince Albert's Land, a harbor in the southern end of the Prince of Wales' Straits.
