Wh'Tl Sulphcr Springs, July 28 I have just come from a concert given by the band • hich plays for the ball room here. It is a very good band, all the performers being masters of their instruments, iheir concert seemed to give an agreeable variety to the somewhat monotonous character, common, as far as I have observed, o< all gatherings at watering places. I was particuiaily struck with (he clarionet, which is one of the best I have heard for a long time. The attendance was quite respectable as to numbers, though it might have been larger. The beauty and fashion, of course, were generally in attendance. I took a Ion? walk to day, the weather being so tine that it was impossible for any one not a ill ic ted with gout or rheumatism to sit still in his room. It was one of those delightful days that makes a person feel a positive pleasure in existence —...
