October ID, following n short Illness, death claimed T. C. Ayers, principal of Solomon M. Coles high school, and one of Corpus Christi's most uso- ful and outstanding leaders. Death was attributed to heart disease. He was first suddenly stricken seven days before his death. The decedent was known as an outstanding educator who had dedicated his life to Negro youth.
