Mr. M. Seery's farm at Avoca comprises some 800 acres, and he has been milking on an average 60 cows; Last season, which was a dxy one. about a hundred sheep were introduced, and to Mr. Seery's pleasant Surprise they prospered and did well on grass land where the cattle with difficulty sustained - themselves. The lambing season produced 20 lambs, which are also doing splendidly, and so pleased is Mr. Seery with his new venture "that he is making arrangements for shortly stocking his farm with some four hundred more sheep for breeding purposes next year.
