Wodonga & Towong Sentinel. Awake! Arise! Or be for ever fallen!—MILTON. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 1887. [Newspaper Article] — Wodonga and Towong Sentinel — 16 December 1887

Awakeo! Arise! Or be for ever fallen! --.MILTON. FRIDAiY, DECEMBER 1, ISS. T?lE crops in many parts of the coun try are very heavy this year, as might have been expected after the extra ordinary season with which the colony has heon favored. As a' matter of. course the danger of fires in the coun try is much greater than usual, and it is always very considerable oven when the .crops are light. Tile farmers themselves, we have no doubt, will take every precaution to guard against disastrous loss by fire. The great peril lies in the carelessness of travel lers. In leaving camp fires burning or by incautiously throw ing about matches, calamities of a dreadful . nature may, be occasioned ivlichi'would be bitterly regre...
