' The Pigs' Medicine Chest. - Áloes.-This is * purgative, and should be preferably used iii the form of a solution; it should be given with unseed oü, when 2ta. will be found sufficient for & full grown pig. Ammonia Liniment. -Professor Brown re- commends this ss sn external stimulant. It is made by »strong solution of ammonia to an eighth part of oil of turpentine, and mix- ing with soap linimerit. It must be kept in a stoppered bottle, and applied by being rubbed well into the skin with the hand. Carbolic Acid!-This can be obtained of any chemist. It is a very powerful anti septic, and, whether used for disinfection or ?for anpUcation, sbould be diluted with water in the proportion=of dáe part to 50 pr HO.
