When notified that Santiago had fallen the ports of Qoantanamo and Caimsnera surrendered to the Ameri cans. The Cubans are furious at not being allowed to plunder Santiago, and be yond drawing their rations they ?caroely oommunicate with the Ameri can troopa. Admiral Oerveras, the commander of the Spanish flejt which was reoently destroyed by the American squad roa off Santiago de Cuba, has arrived in tbe United States. Ho was lionised at Annapolis, Maryland, iu recognition of bis kindly treatment of Lieutenant Bohson and tbe crew of tbe Merri tnao. It is proposed to present the Admiral with Jefferaon Davis's estate at Tampa, Florida.
