NARROGIN. Narrogix, Feb. 5. A good chance for farmers to se cure some bargains in stock and im plements will present itself here on Wednesday next, lttb inst. On that date Messrs A. Watts and Co., will sell by auction at the farm, 10 miles from this township, on account of M'Quinn Bros, 2.20O acres of rich farm land, also sheep, horses cows, pigs, poultry, farming implements, farm produce, etc. At Jhe Government Land Agent's office* lore at 3 p.m. on Thursday Feb ruary 12, town lots 171, 191, 389, 226, 232, and 233, containing about 2 roods each, will be sold. The upset price mil be £5 each. Mr Li. Brown, the well-known local boniface, is somewhat seriously ill. An average of £2000 worth of agricultural produce has been sent away weekly from Narrogin for the past c tuple of monfhs. It is proposed.that the annual race meeting in connection with the Pm gelly Baee Club should be held on St. Patrick's Day, (March 17). A com mittee meeting of the club was held on Saturday afternoon last, Mr G. M. Sewell, J.P., (chairman), presiding, when it was resolved to make appli cation to the committee of the W.A. Turf Club fof the date named unless the Northam B.C. had already secured the date. It is satisfactory to learn that Master George Frederick ILdyoake, (son of Mr George Holy«>ake »•! this district), who had one of his legs broken as the result of an accident vrjjfjptk, horse near Brookton some three "weeks ago, is progressing in the York Hospital. The lad is expected to be discharged from the institution during the n^xt fortnight.
