THE GREAT CUKE ALL! ENOWN THROUHOUT THE WORLD. HOLLOWAY'S OINTMENT. Bad Legs, Bad Breasts, Sores and Ulcers. ALL description of eons are remedied by the proper anc diligent use of this inestimable preparation. To attempt to cure bad legs by flus tering the edges of the wound together ia a folly; fbr should the skin unite, a boggy diseased condi tion remains underneath to break out with tenfold fury in a few days. This will cause the malignant humours to be drained off from the hard, swollen, and discoloured parts round the wound, sore or ulcer, and when these humours are removed, the wounds themselves will soon heal warm bread and water poultioes applied over the affected parte, after the Ointment has been rubbed in, will soothe and soften the same, and general...

time the extensive employment of boys . by our' present " employers of skilled labour renders ife- -a most difficult matter for competent journeymen to obtain work. Hence the future prospect of apprentices is very gloomy, because when £heirJ "fippi^itiseship expires, and they natu-r rally expect journeymen's wages, they find that they cannot obtain full em ployment as men./ The consequence is that hundreds of tradesmen are walking about idle, tl-ir place in the: workshops being filled by cheap boy-? labouW The same economical system is carried out in all branches of com mercial industry in the colony. Cheap labourlis only sought after, and wher ever boys can bo employed men are excluded. How this state of alfairs is to be remedied is precisely the pro blem to be solved; it is the pons assinontm of our social Euclid, which is to be satisfactorily demonstrated by ! the present generation of colonists. I in order to arrive at a correct solution I of the question, they must begin with w...
