Brady, Esq., the daogter of Col. Jonathan D. Stevenaoo, | and for her this soiree was given. The company began to assemble about nine o'otoek, and rarely hate wc met so brilliant an assemblage of beauty and fashioo. The ladies, God bless them one and all, looked lowly. The hostess, Mrs. H., with her daughter, Mrs. C. were extremely gracious and affable, and were continually promoting the happiness tff their visitors. Mrs. J. H.
