Mrs. Wellborn was born In Chlco Texas but she reports that she went to school In Santa Anna Texas. From high school she made a mistake (we think so at least) and journeyed off down Hardin Simmons way where she was one of that school's most outstanding students. Mrs. Wellborn holds both the Bachelor of Arts and the Master of Arts degrees from Hardin Simmons and the Bachelor of Science degree from Howard Payne College.
