MARCH 1986 SACHSE SENTINEL PAGE 11 Shanklin for Council I'm proud of the citizens of Sachse. During my three years on the Planning and Zoning Commission, I've seen the audience size at our meetings and City Council meetings grow significantly. That participation shows that you and I share the same pride and interest in our community. Now. I ask you to turn that interest to the April 5 election. With three City Council positions and the mayor's spot to he filled, this election is critical to Sachse's future. I'm running for City Council because I want the best interests of the citizens considered in every governmental decision. My time on the Planning and Zoning Commission plus my years of working closely with the City Council and other city boards, has given me the experience to represent you effectively on the Council. Six and a half years ago, my husband, Scott, son. Matthew, and I moved to Sachse from Dallas. When we moved into our house at 1104 Meadow Lane, the population of Sac...

Four shows of 15 minutes each were needed to include all w ho wanted to see the puppets in action. Cheryl Burks, a library volunteer, her husband.
