PRODUCE CIBCULAU. There' is little to note this week in the wool market. The demand is active, but the arrivals have been limited to a few bales from the northern ports, and some hatidwashed wools from the neighbouring fell rnongoring establishments. There is not any altera tion in price. Tallow.— There has been a greater demand for chipping paresis, and prices have improved Is. per cwt. ; but thi? can only be considered a temporary advance, whilst the vessels on tbe berth are offering low freights to secure the same for cargo. The price obtained for beef tallow wag £49 15s. to £50 12h. 63. : no mutton sold. Shckpskine are iu fair request, and prices the same as last week. Sides. — There bas been difficulty in shipping parcels except at an advance in freight. This, com bined with' the withdrawal of several parties from the market, has caused a dccliue, and 26s. 6d. was tKe highest rate obtained for best heimy. The history of the late and recent squabbles between the Ministry and their unflinching opponents furnishes a melancholy picture of the incessant cares and vexations inseparable from the atteihpt to inaugurate Responsible Government in the colony ; and may serve — and we hope and trust it will Berve— as a solemn warning to the people with regard to the class of men they elect to represent them iu the new Parliament, as a dissolution of the present one seems now inevitable, either before or after the new Electoral Bill has been made law. The sooner tbe present Parliament is dissolved the better ; for it is impossible, with parties so equally balanced, and each side so bitterly opposed to the other, that the business of the country can ever be proceeded with in a satisfactory manner.
