(To the Editor of the Bombala Times) [Newspaper Article] — Bombala Times and Manaro and Coast Districts General Advertiser — 26 January 1900

(To tKe lEtlitofc cfhke~-fflm$ala- Times,) Silt,— Will you kindly allow. me a little space in_ your paper to comment on a ro port which I am informed is current in Craigie. On Decoinher; the 23rd ult., I visited the late Me Joseph ,Mhv profes sion illy, being . sent for . by Mr. John Bruce. Tho report is that 'Mr. Bruce'B child was seriously ill, ancUhat whilo Mr. Bruce sent for me. nominally on' bohiilf of the late Mr. May it was rn.illy with a view that I should see his child at May's ex pense. To show how highly improbable this is I have only to point out, first, that Mr. Bruce guaranteed all 'expanses', and secondly, that had Mr. Bruce 'r .first con sideration been the attendance of his child, being an oddfellow ho would havo sent fur mo as such, and the expense in curred would havo been far less. Yours truly, S. S. MERMFIELD.
