The Bulletin. PUBLISHED DAILY.   SATURDAY, JULY 20, 1907.   IMMIGRATION.   Speaking in London on emigration to Australia Mr Deakin used language which amounted to charging the State Governments with putting obstacles in the way of Commonwealth efforts to at- tract population to our country. The facts are that while the Commonwealth Government has never brought forward any plan for federal action in the mat- ter of immigration, and federal Minis- ters have done much to discourage it by frequently declaring that there is no land available for immigrant settlers, several of the States are spending money on bringing out immigrants, and the Governments of all of them are no- toriously attempting in one way or an- other to attract population. The pre- sent Commonwealth Administration is kept in power by a party which is averse to organised population impor- tation. THAT OLD CHEST TROUBLE! THERE TS COMFORT AND HEAL ING TN PEPS— THE RREATH OF THE RirH PJNE WOODS. People who arc burdened with a. weakness of the chest and lungs, es pecially those of advanced years, live in constant dread of winter. The cold biting winds, the driving rain showers, the sleet and snow, and the changeable weather conditions which exist, have all an unfavorable Influence on the trouble. The sufferer is unduly susceptible to colds and chills, and with each sudden change of weather is again seized with that old 'churchyard' cough, which may bo eased for the time being by cough mixtures, but by their use the chest is never healed and strengthened to resist tho attack. It is Impossible to imagine a safer, hnrdlor, or more efficacious medicine for use by weak-chested people than Peps. They represent a unique com bination and concentration of rare essences obtained direct from cer tain species of Pine tree. Peps are the scientific equivalent of 'a Pine Forest -' i-u-ry nome....
